If your roof is starved of suitable ventilation it is likely to become damp as a result of moisture and condensation forming. Building regulations have been changed a number of times over the years to address this concern so as to allow for continuous ventilation at eaves level. The amount of ventilation required varies depending on roof type and pitch. For most modern pitched roofs, a typical ventilation equivalent to a 10mm continuous air gap is sufficient.
Our ‘Over Fascia Ventilator’ provides an equivalent of a 20mm air gap so, for flat or pitched roofs its ideal where more ventilation is required.
A lot of homes have unattractive vents but our Over Fascia Ventilator offers a discrete and effective way to address the problem. Soffit ventilation grills or discs are used on many traditional homes but are unsightly in highly visible areas of the roofline. Our Over Fascia Ventilation system provides a more efficient and visually appealing solution.
Our Over Fascia Ventilation system is generally fitted to every fascia board we install. It sits on top of the fascia and is discrete and obscured from view.
